Hey Reggie,

Happy Belated Birthday! I hope that you had a good one. I wanted to say that I enjoy the blog tips for pips and your evening homework study sessions. They are really helping me understand the forex market and make me a better trader overall.

I am also reading your book, which I find very informative. If you just turned 28, you would have written this when you were 23-24. That’s incredible. Anyways, thanks for all of your hard work and if you ever have a chance I would love to talk to you about trading or how the business credit market has changed from the time of your book to present day.

Reggie is one of the best teachers I’ve had at IFT. He has given me so many ah ha moments which gives me a deeper understanding of the trading we do here at Ift. His homework sessions are very important to me . At first it was to help me get my bias correct. Now I Like to do my homework ahead of time and compare notes. May 14, 2012- May 18, 2012 is the week everything in my trading life changed. As weeks prior, I was battling with the issue of losing and making money not really getting my account to any particular level, or over my original deposit amount. And this was going on for a period of about 3 months. I finally decided to join ifundtraders with the intentions to receive the education I badly needed, and to connect with the wonderful mentors and instructors I heard so many great things about. I got a little more than I was expecting, when only a few weeks after joining iFT one of the instructors replaced the head instructor for the forex department. And this is when I was introduced to Reggie Ringgold! His sophisticated “swag” to trading gave me a real comfort to trading that I never had. During that week he picked out his top pairs for the week as well as some of the most solid things to look at for the next day. And he also gave a tremendous lesson which he considered to be a “treat” that had all my fellow traders dying to get a taste of. He asked certain questions pertaining to trading that I never gave thought of. Questions like “What was your reason for entering the trade? And exactly what setup am I trading for this particular pair?” Another simple but VERY IMPORTANT question, “Did you wait for confirmation on your trade?” Questions like that was more than a “treat” to me. It was a blessing. And I 100% give the credit to Reggie, because that week I doubled the amount in my freedom account which is what I was never able to do before. And ever since then, Reggie has been considered a mentor to me, a leader, and a tremendous friend. I now for some reason take quite a bit of the same trades as Reggie. Not purposely, but his style of trading I just adapted to. And there will always be a successful trader that just connects for you. Reggie was the guy for me. And I am more than glad, because my life mentally and financially has changed since meeting Reggie as well as the whole iFT family. I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything or anyone. It has been so worth it!
